how pimp would escalators be? it makes zero real sense and there would be injuries. but still, escalators would be sweet up to your seat.

At least in 2015, lsu's little stadium expansion will be over and the BIGGER focus will be on Texas A&M's completion of the loudest stadium in the country.

2015 is the year of LSU's tennis complex construction. I thought everyone knew that.

And just like that, the gauntlet has been thrown.

We'll see. Both stadiums should install decibel meters.

TS will be louder based solely on how the 2 stadiums are built.

It took me a while to figure out that the expansion projects talked about weren't about TAMU and Mizzou.

Stadium expansions. D'OH

A&M should have put more premium seating in... SEZ looks to be all bleachers. Going to have to go back and change it again in a few years.

basically* the entire new west side will range from arm chair to club to loge to suite, not to mention the arm chair, club, and suite levels in the NEZ.

Still not enough. I'll get a better feel for the new SEZ (where my seats are) but I would have hoped the bottom 2 sections would have been armchair and the middle section to match the zone club somewhat as the views will be similar.

Yeah, but can you go bigger? Our little expansion added ~9,000 seats in the SOUTH endzone putting us at 102,321. What you gonna do when we close it in at 111,321?

Tiger Stadium is looking absolutely gorgeous. Pretty jealous, not going to lie.

I don't expect to ever want to go bigger. I expect to add in more premium at some point. Demand is going down in general. I think 102K is where we max out.

However A&M's alumni base is still playing catch up to a lot fo other large universities due to our size back in the day.

A&M is putting in multiple sets of escalators around the stadium.

In the end though Bama, LSU, and A&M will all be amazing 100k plus stadiums that are loaded to the gills with great features. All will be loud and great atmospheres. UT is huge but not modernized. Georgia is close. UF, Auburn, and USC are excellent but smaller. Ole Miss, Arky, MSU, Mizzou, and UK will all be very nice but a little smaller than those. Vandy is the only one that really isn't exceptional.

I meant one right to your seats. Tons of stadiums have escalators, including tiger stadium.

Georgia won't ever expand enough to break 100,000. We may one day do something like LSU and wrap around our East endzone's 600 level, but that's a pipe dream at this point. Just nowhere else to really expand and we already have plenty of premium seating as it is.

yes it is. UT has been renovating Neyland for a few years now. It's every bit as modernized as the rest of the conference outside as much premium seating.

The B1G has some fantastic venues, but the SEC has to be at the top when it comes to where we play college football.
