I tried warning yall. He easily could have gone 7-5 last year at Washington with the amount of close games he had.

Had Sellers not imploded you would have lost to Vanderbilt then South Carolina at home in back to back weeks as 3 TD favorites.

Fans of a team are fickle and overreact, but a good reliable gauge of a coach's quality is whether fans of rival teams want the coach to stay.

It's early, but right now most of the rant likes the idea of DeBoer coaching at Alabama for a long time.

He's 6 games in, has a 5-1 record and a win over a top5 team despite installing a new offense and defense.

Well sure. LSU fans are always concerned about the well-being of Bama football.

Good job !

Very fair assessment. Well done

I think everyone's just glad DeBoer's there and not Saban. The euphoria of that has still not rubbed off. It will take at least 2 seasons to know what we truly have with DeBoer.

The only thing I can say at the moment is that he's not Saban. I am leaning negatively at the moment but am willing to give him two seasons before I come to a firm conclusion.

Had Sellers not gotten(or ref help)hurt South Car beat LSU by 3 touchdowns

As for DeBoer, I think we should rush the field to greet him kinda like rushing the field when one beats mid SEC teams while claiming you’re a Blue blood…lol

Too early to tell on Deboer. Need to see some results from next year. He has to clear out some players and mindsets. And then Deboer has to fully settle in to the job and get tougher on the players.

I doubt the Alabama fans on tRant who you “tried warning” were in charge of the hire.

Fine. Expected some growing pains, different staff, different environment, much more competitive conference.

Not happy at all with the predictability on defense especially in 3rd and long. Probably reasons for it, but hoping that changes by Saturday or it could be tough.

He’s not Nick, and a lot of fans expect him to be. I don’t, and as much as I think this season will give me a fatal heart attack, I’ve enjoyed it immensely. Best year I can remember with the most parity in CFB since 2007.

And yes losing to Vandy indeed sucks, but we’re 5-1 right now which is exactly where I thought we’d be. Just thought the loss would be to Georgia.
