I think Clemson does have a somewhat better pass defense and probably a better pass rush. But do you have as good a run defense as MSU? I don't think so.

We'll see.

It's pretty much Clemson's version of Tidefans.

I've seen some Clemson fans talking about how Chad Kelly could beat Alabama as a reason they can beat Bama. I would love nothing more than their only loss coming to a team whose only loss was to Swag Kelly.

Here's to hoping the Natty turns out like the Krystal on Bourbon Street with Bama putting nuts on their opponent's face.

I actually like Clemson's chances in this game. Bama is sold but their run game can be stopped if you sell out. Clemson is a very good passing team and Bama has shown some lapses in that area. I think this game will be pretty entertaining.

That being said, if Watson isn't accurate or mobile enough this could get ugly late in the game.

Im pulling for Bama based on this and for the fact that Pawl said Saban would retire if he wins another Natty.

Treadwell is a much better receiver than any of Clemson's. Clemson has one receiver in the top 100 for receiving yards, and he's at #61. I don't buy that Watson is going to have a good day passing like Chad Kelly. It'll be much more like Dak's day vs. Alabama. They don't have a mismatch in the passing game, especially with Alabama's pass rush being the best in college football.

Watson is fast though and he'll scramble for a couple of first downs and if they run the option effectively, it could give Alabama trouble on a couple of drives.

Things I buy:

Alabama rushes for 200 yards+
Clemson holds Alabama under 200 yards passing
Watson gets picked twice (he has thrown 11 picks this season)

Things I don't buy:
Clemson rushing for more than 150
Clemson passing for more than 250
Watson not getting knocked down A TON

It'll be an even game for a while, I think Alabama pulls away with special teams, turnovers, or just getting points from drives. Something like 28-21

This^^^^
MSU's secondary is nowhere near what it was two years ago. A couple of their DBs are playing on Sundays. I give Alabama a ton of credit for finally using Coker. He played very well while Henry was being contained all game. I think Connor Cook did his team no favors by holding onto the ball too long as well. He has always been a 50% pass completion guy but his receivers played scared too. They had a horrible run offense all year, so going against Bama wasn't going to help this. I was amazed at Alabama's ability to bat the ball down at the LOS. Watson will bring a different element to the game. It should be a good one.

Doesn't seem accurate, but I will bookmark for laughs for after Bama loses.

I don't see what's so ridiculous about them thinking they can beat Alabama. It's not that hard.

The posters on tigernet are the most delusional bunch I've ever seen. How do you South Carolina fans deal with them?

I just don't think that they will score a ton of points against our defense . Call me crazy , but the fact that they are so woefully one dimensional gives me pause . Our defense is tough . Motivated and tough . Rested , motivated and tough . Henry is a horse , but we will see about him in the gameplan. What do ya got besides that , Nicky ? Our offense is clicking too . No mention of that . All the pundits want to talk about is how stout and hige Alabama's defense is . Hmmph.

My guess is the Taters own the cocks' asses in the all time series so the cocks have to tolerate it. Spurrier gone, so Dabo gets the last laugh against SCe.

Clemson could win (I don't think they do), but their rationale is ignorant.
