I like the 4 division setup better.
North: Vandy, Tennessee, Kentucky, VA Tech
East: NC State, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida
South: Auburn, Alabama, Ole Miss, Miss State
West: LSU, Arkansas, Texas A&M, Missouri

Kick Vandy out, get both North Carolina schools, and VT.

This would suck. All of our old rivals would be in the south.

You just want to leave that huge market sitting there?

NC State will never leave the ACC. None of the North Carolina schools would ever leave the ACC. They are the very heart of the ACC.
Otherwise, it's a lovely map.

NC State has a very small following so adding them for the sake of another TV market would make no sense to me.

Understandable. I don't like it either, but it's gonna grow to 16 whether we like it or not. We better pick up the extra two now or you get stuck with someone that really sucks.

This would make me feel like we had been kicked out of the SEC and forced into the old SWC or Big 8/12. We'd be the only charter member not to have any other charter members in our division.

It's about the money & market share so imma assuming the SEC wants the states of NC & VA if they expand. UNC & UVA aren't coming to the SEC(if 16 team conf become inevitable they'll bolt to the B1G). So that leaves VT & NCSU...ACC is dying...

meh. We're not the Big 12. The disproportionate revenue share over there won't work over the long-term.

UNC and NC State leaving the ACC would be the equivalent of Alabama and Auburn leaving the SEC.
