Lets Sum it up shall we....
Nutt over signed his class by 13 at least
Ole Miss loses 3 scholarships
The Holiday Inn Incident
Not as good facilities as Arkansas
Not as many BIG donors nor attendance revenue as Arkansas
Looks Like an Upgrade to me.....

Arkansas has maxed it's potential already.
I guess potential is measured by the distance to go to the top from the bottom?

can be.
Arkansas doesn't have enough talent in Arkansas alone to be an elite team. If either Ole Miss or State could, that team would be an elite team.

You're crazy.
The only thing you said that makes any sense to me is that you have a better recruiting base, but you also split it with several schools. We don't recruit against anybody in our state, and we do well in Texas and Oklahoma.
Still, with that awesome recruiting base, Nutt couldn't outrecruit Petrino this year, could he?
Tradition? Don't make me laugh. OM and Ark are close historically, but even in the past 20 years, our historical low point, we have you beat.
Better fans? Like the 48k that show up to see OM play in its best season in a decade?
And our football facilities completely outclass anything you have in Oxford.
I could go on...

If we could get the South Panola kids to qualify and the OB kids to stop going to Bama we'd both have good recruiting classes year in and year out.

we averaged 55k a game with a very non-favorable home schedule. We didn't play a single team who sold out their allotments of tickets.
But to answer your question...like the 35k that went to Dallas to watch us win our Cotton Bowl.

I think he did.

you have us here. Our historical low point, as well.

You have a much nicer stadium, but we have as nice if not nicer practice facilities than you do.

C'mon man really?
Better talent Base, - after competing with State, bama, aub, and LSU?
More SECcentric location - so?
Better history, Better tradition, - that's easily debateable
fans who aren't complete dickheads. - dude, really?
I could go on. - please do.
BOOM....
Ole Missy is only a good fit b/c anything positive is an upgrade. Give it two years and someone with red pants will start crying again

I think Old Mrs can be more competitive going forward, but you don't need to attempt to downplay AR success both historically ,or since we joined the SEC in'92. To say ANY program that has been to 36 Bowl games ,including 23 New Year's Day games such as: 11 Cotton,5 Sugar,2 Orange,1 Fiesta, 2 Citrus and 2 Gator has no tradition is ridiculous. Also, we've played for the SEC football Title 3 times. How many New Year's Day Bowl games and SEC Titles has either Ole Miss or State played in/for?

We've won like 8.

The question was, how many titles have you "played for", which indicates there is a game played in order to decide who is the conference champion.

Arkansas record versus Mississippi State since split division play began in 1992. 12-3-1. Looks like domination to me.

if CFB datawarehouse is accurate; it shows Ole Miss with 32 Bowl game appearances, of which 16 are New Year's Day Bowls, and with 6 SEC titles; the last being in 1963?

right. We have 19 bowl wins. Which is more than Arkansas.

In all honesty...MOST kids don't care what happened historically....Hell we are battling for recruits that were born in the fricking early 90's!
