Probably better defensively.

I would imagine we were better in most everything but passing and turnover margin. Add 3rd down conversions too. We need to improv e that greatly.

I think it's fair to say you were better defensively, but teams didn't score that much more on us than they did on you. Alabama, LSU, South Carolina, and Georgia scored a little bit more against Florida than Tennessee.

Your offensive numbers might be better too if only for that hilarious four game stretch when we could do nothing.

UT will have to improve on the 115th in the country out of 121 schools in rushing the ball to beat the Gators...throwing 60 times will get ya a big fat L.
We finished somewhere around 75th in the country rushing the ball and not so good ourselves and the turnover ratio was horrible...in 2012 we have much more experienced OL, two soph qbs who were highly rated in high school and got thrown into starting roles due to injuries last year....so they should improve greatly. The defense will be top five in the country by years end...book it.
Mizzou will find it easier to poke hot butter up a lions azz than to come to the Swamp looking for a W. You Mizzou fans should just drink up before the game and check out the pretty women in the SEC...cause our women dont resemble livestock like some places.

Honestly... What does Tennessee have that we should be scared of? They couldnt beat us at our worst last year and year before that!

I think UF is in for a long season. I think they will be better than last year, but it may not necessarily be reflected in the record. The OL is the worst in the conference - absolute dreck. They can't move anybody off the line of scrimmage and they are terrible in pass pro. The WRs are pedestrian, as are the RBs. Neither kid at QB showed enough to say he is "the guy". I can easily see where a repeat of last year occurs where a decent D gets worn down by an inept offense keeping them on the field.

As for the D, it is solid but nowhere near great. Easley is a slasher. But both he and Floyd get pushed around by big OLs. The LBs are eminently average. Bostic can't get off a block and Jenkins is a blown up safety. The secondary is where the talent is. Elam is a player and brings a load when he arrives. The CBs are an asset, too. But the D isn't good enough to take over games, and that's what the Gators are gonna need.

7-5...6-6 wouldn't surprise me.

Actually, UF will be one of the few improved teams in the SEC this year.

It's Auburn and USCe that should be worried.
