Honestly, what’s your prediction for the game?

Let’s hear your score and reason behind it.
38-24 Bama.
I don’t see LSU scoring enough to keep pace. I do foresee Tua getting picked once and keeping it closer than it should for a little while. He’s thrown two balls this year that were really bad and would have been picks had the defensive player not dropped it. It comes with the territory when you have a qb that has extreme confidence and is playing good defensive backs. We eventually get up by 10 or so and force LSU to throw. This season when LSU is down by more than 8, Burrow’s completion percentage drops down to 30% due to the defense not having to respect the run. At this point, we try to run and shorten the game, but Devin White being back after half on fresh legs goes a long way towards slowing the run attempts down. This is the reason I don’t see it getting out of hand. Once the LSU offense is forced to throw I don’t see them having much success. Could be second quarter, could be all the way until the fourth. Irregardless, my prediction is 38-24.

If Tua is rattled early on, 31-28 LSU. If not, 38- 28 Alabama.

24-17 LSU -
LSU Scores a late touchdown and has an epic, deafening defensive stand to seal the game. Similar to our win against AU last year.

I hope: 27-21 LSU
What will probably happen: 35-21 Bama

I think the game comes down to LSU ability or inability to sustain drives. If Burrow has to plan from behind Bama's D-line will tee off, if able to put together some timely drives it could be a game. Unless Tua gets hurt this game is over late 3rd quarter.

I hope you’re right, but I don’t see reason to think they don’t. We’ve shown we have more holes this year in that defense than in the past. Against Tennessee alone we were forced to cover a receiver with Mack Wilson three times. You can see it on the drive Tennessee marched down the field with a backup quarterback. This is miscommunication that is still happening and after a bye should be some improved. We showed glaring holes against Arkansas and gave up several big plays in the middle of the field. Again, not saying you’re wrong but what makes you think they don’t? They have a kicker that is good for every field goal he kicks. This alone accounts for at least 6, maybe 9 points.

I think Bama wins something like 30-20

Not sure about a score, but my prediction is Alabama wins. Obviously I hope I'm wrong but there's a reason they're a 2 TD favorite.

I like that prediction. Bama's defense isn't as great as previous Saban defenses, but their offense more than makes up for it. Might be a different story if LSU can effect Tua, but he's unbelievably good at bouncing back when he does make a mistake. He doesn't get rattled.

LSU needs to be able to run the ball and keep the number of possessions for both teams down to a minimum. They also will have to do a much better job of scoring TDs instead of field goals when they're in the RZ. If LSU cannot run the ball effectively, they will not have a chance to win the game IMO unless something really unusual happens.
