Yep. It would be one thing if Florida played poorly but gutted out a tough win. That would have been respectable.
Instead Florida played poorly and only won because Miami was in even worse shape. If Miami was a year further along in their rebuild they win last night and win comfortably at that.

Add your summer of discontent, off field problems, and the lack of a bump 2nd year coaches usually get from what I saw. The team has digressed, not improved over last year. Dont buy tickets for Atlanta!

Only unit of your team that looked good was D-line, and that’s because they were against such an overmatched O-line. Your line had decent pass protection too. But....
-Run game was pitiful
-It’s not just that UF had 4 turnovers. All 4 were basically gifts to the Miami defense. Boneheaded, unforced mistakes. Franks had 3.
-Franks throws well out of a clean pocket, but apply any pressure at all and he will make terrible decisions. He’s a headcase on and off the field.
-Undisciplined. Poorly timed personal fouls.
-Front 7 made up for it a lot, but secondary looks more porous than usual. Susceptible to screens and plays to the perimeter.
-Worst tackling I’ve seen from a UF defense in a long time.
-Never once sustained a TD drive. A muffed punt, a blown coverage, and about five missed tackles accounted for all 3 touchdowns.
TLDR: nobody should be the slightest bit scared. This looks like an average SEC team at best.

Any SEC caliber team will make Florida bite the curb if the Gators play like that again. Hell, maybe even Tennessee.
