Honestly, does A&M have a QB to make a run?

First, I hate Tamu.

With that out of the way, it seems that Tamu has been right on the cusp for a few years now. To be honest, I think they've been a QB away recently.

Does anyone, besides A&M fans, think it's about time?

Is QB important? Georgia won it all without one.

Are the quarterbacks bad or is it just Jimbo?

They will never blame fisher, heaven help the qb, he’ll get all the blame. Ask Mond and Calzada…

Hard to believe any qb would want to go there and put up with that crap.

UGA is a lot like Bama pre-Tua. You can win a national title without elite QB play, but you better be elite at practically every other position. I'm talking a mauling run game and a defense that crushes opponents before the game even starts. I'm not so sure aTm has that yet.

Are we doing serious answers?

If they have a stout defense I think max Johnson could guide them. Don't think he could win won, but I think he wouldn't lose one.

ETA: only as a stop gap until that freshman has a year under his belt.

I think Weigman can be the leader we need to be a contender. The kid is the real deal. I would rather he have more experience but we must play the hand that is dealt us. I will not overlook Johnson. It will be interesting to see what he can do on a good team with good coaching.

Jimbos QB recruiting has been his biggest limitation IMO. He has built a great defense and recruited a lot of talent but his QB recruiting has been atrocious. Until he fixes that, he will be an 8 or 9 win coach.

Too early to tell if King or Weigman will pan out. Max Johnson is an insurance policy.
