I felt the same way about Knoxville in the early '00s.
Even though my folks lived there during the late 90s thru early 00's I wouldn't go to a game there.
I never had any trouble going to the bars in Knoxville after other games though.

He's a writer for a VOLS sports site so I'm guessing he's been to a Tennessee game if not all that you mentioned
You think buildings burning down is a good tradition?

it appeared the Vols were on the verge of being knocked out in front of the highly partisan crowd, falling behind 28-7 in the second half. The Volunteers, like Balboa, kept fighting and something special started to the happen...

I think what makes you awesome is that you don't care what other people think of your program and your lifestyle. You let your freak flag fly and you DGAF. I admire that. Most programs would try to tamp down the cult culture, the homoerotic imagery, the blatant insecurity, etc. Really admire that you guys embrace it.

It was decent, but the chants and yell leaders were as bizarre as advertised.
Ole Miss, UGA and LSU are all better road trips imo. Bama possibly as well.

I for one am proud of A&M that it has managed to not implode 12 days into October, per the usual.

Win at least the division to start. Then get rid of those male cheerleaders. ...yea yea yea, I know. Assuming this guy as not been around The Vol Nation atmosphere, The Cocktail Party in the Grove. This was one game. Gonna claim another half season NC I guess.
Okay, a couple of things in this one;
I just read this and imagine your coin arse with three teeth, overalls on and nothing else, cousin wife on your lap and sipping on you rot gut. I don't know if this incredibly mumbled, grammatically vacant response was done that way on purpose or not, but either way, excellent job.
As far as the cheerleaders go, I just want you to know that the gayest thing I have seen at a football game yet was the cheerleading effort I saw at Auburn. This little dude with a girly voice, leading cheers that no one is interested it, terrible speaking voice, throwing cardboard signs in the air that say TIGERS! And getting no response.
That was gay. Fix their shite first and then come talk to us and the loudest fan base in college football.

Doubt you were at the game. Can you prove it?

The only thing you got right in your statement was the day.

I wish people thought we were awesome. I wish people thought I was awesome.

Reasons A&M is awesome:
A&M has the best culture
A&M has the best fans
A&M has the best student section
Yells are way cooler than cheers
We have a cannon
Midnight Yell
The 12th Man
The Aggie Family
Muster
We are in Texas
And of course Miss Rev
I know I missed a lot of points, but here is a good starting point

Why should I care about fixing AU's issues? And FWIW: I have a double Masters Degree in business & risk mgt. And my former wife, passed away now, was a dentist & thus, my teeth are in excellent shape.
As for loudest fan base, ask Van Pelt at ESPN, he's totally unbiased. When is the last time he made an aggie game? He comes to TS every yr.
