Honest question, have you ever seen a D1 basketball team that can’t inbound the ball?

Legitimately, we have a 50/50 chance to successfully inbound the ball.

That is really bad. You would think that is something coaches would work on if it was an issue.

Luckily Avery will correct that after his extension.

Yes. LSU had that problem in the Johnny Jones years from time to time.

Northern Iowa against aTm in that wild comeback a few years ago was the craziest display of inbounding ineptitude I’ve ever seen.

Inbounds play design is a joke TBH

It is infuriating to watch

At times this year, Mizzou definitely had trouble with this.

LSU under Johnny Jones was probably at a 40% success clip

It's all about execution.

A coach can only inform the player how to do it. The player needs to execute.

Yes. Watch any South Carolina basketball game from this past year and you'll see we have a similar issue. Poor guard play = issues inbounding the ball

Previous two.

Rick Ray's excuse was ineptitude.

Stansbury had the same shitty inbound play that he ran every time. A lot of teams took it away from us in crunch time.

If you can't teach, and get your players to execute an inbounds play, you're not a good coach. If you managed to recruit and put a player on the floor who can't run an inbounds play, you're not a good coach.
