Failure. The only thing acceptable from this season forward is making the playoffs.

So did we. The major issue has been our OL has been a patchwork every week due to injuries. At least that's what it feels like.

The passing offense just disappeared at times which is to be expected with a freshman QB and an OC that showed trust issues. The running game featured 1 guy and that was a departure from expectations a bit. The defense greatly over preformed. The staff underwhelmed at times. The team just played sloppy too much. They are no longer a hurry up spread team which is something I hope to see again with Nico and the OC getting another year together.

Overall there was plenty of room for improvement and I truly believe that they will be better next year.

12 games in and so far, so good. Still got at least 2 games on the schedule so its too early to say but the future (as in the next month or so) looks pretty bright.

Did not care for the Ole Miss outcome. Sort of expected to lose 1-2 of three out of Bama, Ole Miss and Texas but thought they'd be close.....Ole Miss administered a good old fashioned arse whupping. UGA is as talented as anyone without any glaring deficiencies BUT there seems to be a lack of mental toughness that only kicks in when they are getting their asses whipped.....it'd be better for that instinct to kick in around Tuesday than at half time on Saturday but that's what it has been. Hope springs eternal that the mental toughness sets in early and often going forward due to the stakes in the remaining games. Hard to imagine a Kirby Smart team starting slowly and making massive mental mistakes on a big stage but it could happen....
