I don't like to blame refs, but that personal foul on Vadal Alexander in 2014 was just awful. Ofc you could also say we were lucky to be in the game with how bad our offense was.

2012 was pretty evenly-played, Miles just blew it with the fake FG when Bama was playing safe (dug deep into his ears after that) and a trying 54 yard FG well out of our kicker's range to give Bama a short field for a quick score before half

Makes Alabama's continued dominance in Baton Rouge even that much more impressive: Alabama - 4, everyone else - 3.

Only if you consider LSU a top tier program which the bama ranters have a hard time doing.

Similar in a way when the aggie ranters that say 2019 was a down year yet they had a rough time with that down year.

You’ll have to pick.

3. Since becoming the full time head coach starting in the 2017 season, LSU teams under Ed Orgeron have lost just one home game, in 2018 to Alabama.

Great stats!

Remarkable. Since 2017, Kirby is the only SEC coach with more home wins vs P5 schools than Ed O.

Playing GT at home every other year certainly helps

That's gonna change real soon, really soon

Is georgia tech going to give UGA all of the games at Sanford?
Bobby Dodd Stadium is practically UGA West when we play. Might as well just consolidate the games into Sanford for better attendance.

Jumbo has only faved 9 power 5 teams at home in 3 years? That doesn’t make any sense. He’s had at least 12 SEC games in 3 years

2018:

Clemson
Kentucky
Ole Miss
LSU

2019:

Auburn
Alabama
Mississippi State
South Carolina

I was wrong. He went 5-3, not 6-3.

Remember that every other year we lose a conference home game due to the Arkansas game.

You are correct. UF only lost 4 home games in the 90’s. Two of them to FSU national championship teams

The coaching wasn’t what it used to be. Only so much the home crowd can do.

5. Arkansas in 2015 provided the second largest margin of defeat, 31-14.

Also the 3rd largest, 17-0 in 2014.

I just realized that those are the only 2 victories we have over LSU since 2010. Then I got really sad.

They fare better in Athens than ATlanta. Since 1978, we are 18-3 in Atlanta and only 14-7 in Athens.

They have only beaten us in Atlanta 3 times in the last 42 years.

Eerily similar to 2010's bama:

2010 - lost at home to AU, national champs

2011 - LSU, NC runners-up to bama.

2012 - aTm. Bama won NC.

2015 - Ole Miss. Bama won NC.

2019 - LSU, national champs.

So every time bama lost at home, the better team in that matchup went on to win the NC - and only 2 losses to teams that were not Natty participants.
