Opinions on which team will bounce back from facing the top two teams in the country and come out of Oxford with the dub.

I got my hogs 35-24

Man I don’t know. Y’all have faced way better competition. Whatever the case is with TAM and Tx, y’all beat them both. Also from what I’ve heard y’all’s defense is built to stop teams like us.

Bama and UGA are hard to judge against our two teams because they are light years ahead of us both.

Also both UGA and Bama showed every coach the blueprint to beat us both. It’s whichever one of us has the players to execute what those teams did against each other. It’s going to be a defining game for both us.

I agree! I’ve been looking forward to this game. I feel like corral has this one circled since last year. I hate it’s 11 am and on the road. Our defense has to be prepared and we have to limit mistakes or it could cost us.

I am a bit concerned that our talented offensive line still hasn’t hit its stride. And the receiver depth is worrisome, especially with Mingo out. But i think the offense bounces back this week and the defense forces field goals in situations Bama scored tds. 35-27 Rebs.

Hogs are a lot better on defense. Ole Miss is a lot better on offense. Should be a good game. May come down to which team is less banged up.

Granted this weekend matches the 2021 versions of our respective teams but looking at last year if that gives us anything to take away, the things that stick out are:

4th downs: Will Kiff play the analytics? I think he is bought in there so yes. Will OM hit those 4th downs and will the ones we don’t hit make a hill too steep to climb?

Int’s: Will Corral be as undisciplined as last year and throw several Int’s. I don’t think so.

Rushing: Do we run the ball as well as we did against y’all last year? I was surprised when I looked at this. I’m not sure here. Kiff went RB by committee last year against y’all and the different running styles gave y’all problems. Not sure if that’s as much of a thing this year. Seems we didn’t use the different running styles to our advantage against Bama.

Other thoughts:
Y’all’s QB has skills. He is a factor.
Who is more physical? What we have seen suggests yall.
Does OM provide a home field advantage and does it affect Ark? I think we will even though it is 11 KO bc covid and this is the first SEC game since then. Not sure whether it matters.

I do think we’re able to run the football after taking a nice break vs Georgia hahaha. Briles needs to call a good game and get KJ going.
I’m looking forward to it. One of my best friends is an alumni.

This will be a battle, because I think both teams are equal. I'm hoping a hawg win only because they are my #2.

Every year this matchup carries me back to January 1, 1963. The first game of the day was the Sugar Bowl featuring Ole Miss and Arkansas. It is the first game I remember watching in its entirety on TV. The Rebs won that day and I idolized the Heidel brothers and wanted to follow in their footsteps until I began occasionally going to Georgia games with friends and family several years later.
My pick for this game is Arkansas 27-21 because I think they are a bit more stout along the lines of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Pio says Ole Miss in a landslide. Tells me hogs have no chance here.
