I hate it when any college football player gets hurt.
I hate it worse when they get hurt because of a dirty play or player.
I even hate it when dirty players like Dareus get hurt by dirty plays or players.

Unfortunately that is what every team in the SEC did this summer. I would expect most all of our remaining games to be like last weekend. Be prepared for a tough fought season of close games and don't be surprised if we drop one or two.

All that makes me wonder, how many Hogs would it take to take out Ingram and Richardson in a fight. I put the over/under at nine.
...and you're the one entertaining the thought of a fight?

To the fans of the eleven OTHER universities in the SEC: What you guys are seeing in the Alabama fan base isn't bitching and whining about officiating or "playing dirty", it might look like that but what is going on is a compensation event. Many (not all, some of you are good guys who understand football and the SEC) of their fans thought they would be untouchable this year, common sense should have told them you can't lose 9 from your starting defense and be just as good...but common sense is a problem when the world is shaded crimson.
Most of the people doing the most complaining about the game are the same people that thought they would roll into town and beat us like a rented mule like 2008 and 2009. Instead what happened is we showed how much better we were at the same time as showing them how much worse they might be. In effect, a crack in the "impenetrable" armor. Sure they won, they are a championship caliber team, but they didn't dominate us for 60 minutes which is what these people thought would happen. Many of the Florida fans were writing next week off as a loss before last weekend, now they know they have a chance...same with the LSU fan base (Auburn hates Bama so much they wouldn't concede a loss no matter what).
This is hurting the pride and cracking the world view of these Bama fans and so they are lashing out and trying to cover how they almost lost. In effect they are saying "if the Hogs didn't play dirty, we would have destroyed them", "if the officials weren't in their back pocket, it would have been a walk in the part", etc to convince themselves that they really are untouchable this year and everything they thought about since last January isn't false.

Most of the Bama fans have been very classy about their win. There appears that several Bama fans are whinners. This was a hard fought game by both teams and yes you guys won out, this time. Don't ruin your victory by being whinners, and showing how redneck some of you really are.
To the classy Alabama fans, this does not apply and please disregard.
Go Bama Beat Florida!!

As long as Bama has Saban and Arkansas has Petrino (and LSU has Miles) this will turn into THE game in the west for years to come. Kinda like the old Spurrier vs. Fulmer days in the east. An early season matchup that likely determines the division winner. We aren't rivals now, but it could get that way.

The hate us for some reason. They think of us as a rival. They don't even make our top 5. Most of us just consider the Arky game as a "feeler" on how the season is gonna go.
We've always had problems with them playing dirty. Justin Smiley used to complain all the time about them. Tony Bua ring a bell? After they beat the worst Bama team in 60 years in triple overtime in 2003, Shawn Andrews walked to the student section and was doing the Hulk Hogan move.
They haven't beat us since Leigh Tiffin missed a seasons worth of kicks. They worked all summer to try and beat us this year. I'm sure they were pissed and I have no doubt they were playing dirty.
All that makes me wonder, how many Hogs would it take to take out Ingram and Richardson in a fight. I put the over/under at nine.
Well I don't know how tough Ingram and Richardson are but the only real way to know if for them to try their hand at MMA.
I hope you were one of the Bama pussy fans that got the shite kicked out of them Friday night at a bar on Dickson. A bouncer friend of mine told me that there were several Bama fans picking fights that he couldn't break them up quick enough.
He said in a couple of the fights some Bama Fans really got the shite kicked out of them including missing teeth and all. I hope it was you but usually mouths like you are to pussy to start anything except on message boards.

I really don't know if any of the Arkansas players were actually playing dirty football. It looks like at times that maybe their temper got away with them, as it did with our players. It's understandable, they had the game won and saw it slipping away, and maybe a few punches were pulled that should not have been, but you have to think about is it worth winning to intentionally hurt someone? What have you won that way? I was really worried that someone was going to give Mark enough and he'd start fighting and get kicked out of the game. He has a temper, and it could have happened. You can't have that much passion for the game and not have a temper. There are some dirty players out there, and their schools know who they are, and really should put a stop to it. I'm sorry but a penalty is just not enough when someone has ruined a player's season or perhaps career. I could not believe the Duke player that was pulling on Mark Ingram's hurt leg after the play.
It's not like Duke had a chance in hell of beating us, so what was the need?

Never had a problem with Ark team itself, had an issue with Houston Nutt. I still remember Caddy saying he'd like to ahm mess up Nutt for all the trash talking he did on the sidelines one year.

Arky didn't play dirty...they played tough. I'm assuming a lot of the "played dirty" talk stems back to the bullshite from last year about the clean block on Hightower. It was unfortunate, but clean.
Plus, Arky gets some points for having a fan with the baddest motherfricker of all time, Al Swearengen, as an avatar

Arkansas didn't play dirty??? I guess you're gonna tell me this was a legal hit??? BS. This guy needs to join up with Ryan Pugh...they would make a great pair.
This play has been discussed and it was not a dirty hit. The hog player had no bad intent. You guys just whine alot.

Dareus was not engaged with another player and the play was still live....therefore, it was a common diving cut block....something you see 5-7 times every game from a running back protecting the qb and something you'll see very similar to 50 times a game from offensive linemen.

You sir, obviously understand the rules.
Some folks talk even though they are ignorant of how football is played.

Will Dareus allow anyone else to join his "Successfully Injure Opposing Players With The Crown Of His Helmet" Club?
