Hog fans, what happened? Not a flame, I promise.

I kept waiting for the Hogs to use their superior strength and numbers in the fourth quarter.
Knile Davis is one of the best running backs in the SEC but he disappeared in the fourth quarter. It was pass after incomplete pass with the new QB. Was Davis hurt? (I didn't start watching the game until the 4th quarter.)
I honestly do not understand what the strategy was in the 4th quarter when ULM caught up.
What were the coaches thinking? Did they explain after the game or in any press conferences since then?

Well we don't either.

ULM rooted up their pig hole

are there any links to the press conference after the game or quotes from the coaching staff?

Play Calling on both sides of the ball...We have no coach.
I bought into the "Everything is going to be the same" bullshite.
I can't believe I bought into that shite...I just can't fricking believe it.

So there has been no explanation from the coaches why they all but refused to run the ball in the 4th quarter?
I understand it was a blow to lose your starting QB, but Arky recruits players who would not even consider going to a program like ULM.
Did the team mentally quit? Did the coaches lose their composure at the end?

They got beat by a better team.

Sorry but I don't buy that as a reasonable explanation.

Is Knile not the same back he was last year. Can't he squat mini vans?

It happens. Nobody wants to believe one person is that important to your success.

The fact is that we're pretty bad at defense. Tyler Wilson left at halftime (The score was 21-7) with a concussion. We lost our only CB that's worth anything. After Wilson left, we couldn't do anything on offense with our rookie, Brandon Allen, so everyone lost morale and ULM outplayed us. I was at the game... It was fricking terrible.

Your guess is as good as mine but they were playing like they had a session with some serious thai stick at halftime.
"We got dat stick"

John L hasn't had any composure since early this century.

I honestly think they spent the entire week working on Alabama, and Wilson did his usual Evil Knievel impression, trying to stay alive behind that excuse for pass protection.
When he went down, they struggled for leadership, on and off the field. Once the blood starts flowing, it's hard to stop.
The thought of John L. Smith and this fiasco last night, made me find the Michigan St. radio show rant after the Notre Dame loss years ago.
HR Puff-n-stuff with Teddy Ruxpin as his asst.
