Hindsight 20/20, should LSU be in the playoffs?

They clearly would have dominated OU due to them beating a team that beat LSU. They were also one of only two teams to finish a game with Bama inside 10 pts this season even though they couldn't score a single point. Looking for a fair an unbiased opinion. Does anyone believe that LSU is a top 4, all things considered?

I'm an SEC fan. The more the merrier. I just think with the level of confidence in this board, LSU should be considered in hindsight. Obviously they couldn't have been chosen as the top 4 prior to games being played but that's not what I'm asking.
