Well cool. I am at work and we are watching the weather, the eye of the storm pretty much followed HW 6 from Batesville to Oxford.

I think that the wind is supposed to start picking up in about 10-15 minutes and then rain at around 3. I think the heavy rain is supposed to be around 5.

Yea, the rotation will pass a few miles east of Oxford

I will never forget the April 8th tornado outbreak in west jefferson county
One of my best friends at the time lived in Concord. He hid in a bathtub during the storm. When it passed, his house was a wreck, but still standing. The one to the left of him was a pile of rubble, and the one to the right was a bare foundation, swept clean of any traces of a former dwelling.
Sad part of the story is that he left to go sleep at his mom's house that night, and the next day the National Guard had barricaded most of that part of the county. When they allowed him to return to his house for his belongings three days later, the house had been looted, and he had nothing left.
