He never lets me leave early. He tells me to "suck it up and put my big girl panties on"

You'll be going against traffic, so it shouldn't take you too long

Alabama Power said the earliest we'd have power back at my house is 12AM April 29th and AT&T said the phone is out till May 3rd. Neither of my parents' cell phones are working either.

Um, that's being generous. There is only way into the house too. All the other roads are blocked off.

I saw trees snapped in half this morning on my way into work.

Dang..I think I'd be telling him, you left your big girl panties at home and you're leaving. But then again, your luck is he's like me and he'd say show me and prove it.

That's true. Recnetly I've gotten slowed way down though because the ramp to merge from 31 onto 65N has lost it's merge lane so you now have to yield to oncoming traffic. With the bad weather I'm not looking forward to that.

Well, my power just came back on. It's been off all morning. We had a tornado touch down in Marshall County Alabama where I live.

My hometown Guntersville is said to have damage. This is just a couple of days after we had a year anniversity of the tornado that tore up Albertville, where I live.
