Maybe he'll let u off early today with the bad weather and traffic problems that it's causing.

I get off work in Hoover at 5 and live off Lakeshore. I hope it's not TOO bad on my drive.

You'll be going against traffic, so it shouldn't take you too long
Alabama Power said the earliest we'd have power back at my house is 12AM April 29th and AT&T said the phone is out till May 3rd. Neither of my parents' cell phones are working either.

Holy crap that sux. So far still got power here. Had alot of wind and fast heavy rain this morning. Hoping the Mtn behind me buffers most of it this afternoon too.

Um, that's being generous. There is only way into the house too. All the other roads are blocked off.
I saw trees snapped in half this morning on my way into work.

That's true. Recnetly I've gotten slowed way down though because the ramp to merge from 31 onto 65N has lost it's merge lane so you now have to yield to oncoming traffic. With the bad weather I'm not looking forward to that.

Well, we're under ANOTHER tornado warning.
Posted on 4/27/11 at 2:11 pm to NorthGwinnettTiger
Ternader warning just issued for Walker County.

Well, my power just came back on. It's been off all morning. We had a tornado touch down in Marshall County Alabama where I live.
My hometown Guntersville is said to have damage. This is just a couple of days after we had a year anniversity of the tornado that tore up Albertville, where I live.
