None of you Auburn fans have mentioned Good Ole' Boys yet? My grandpa used to take me there as a wee lad and the catfish was ambrosial to say the least.

Hokkaido Japanese Steak House on 15th Street in Tuscaloosa.

yea, the one in Birmingham is garbage. They only cook their ribs for about 45 minutes on high heat. The one in T-town still does it right. Low and slow.
And don't confuse the original with the Northport chain one.
Only the original: located basically in the middle of nowhere. Off Jug Factory Road in the neighborhood I think is called Jerusalem Heights.
Does it still have the "No Farting" sign above the front door?

The Booth is dead. The new Booth is nothing but a worthless, hollow shell of what was once a great bar.

Mike and eds Bbq in auburn. Use a mustard base on their sauce. Supper club is the dive party bar. Great times on the good game weekends

I'd like to eat there again soon. God that was probably the best catfish I have ever eaten.
But he would always take me there and sometimes to CiCi's in Opelika (because Phenix Shitty has yet to join the 21st century and open up a franchise restaurant other than I-Hop and the short-lived Loco's). CiCi's is another place I haven't visited in years.

I haven't even seen the new Booth, but I can only imagine how disappointing it might be.

The Booth was the greatest bar in the history of bars.
I loved it with all of my cold heart.
big gulp tuesdays, blue valium shots, live music every night, sixty dollar cash advances, the smell, the copy machine in the back....

Oh, another Auburn restaurant to go to is Pannie-George's. If you like meat and 3 type restaurants that place is the best. Its basically four very large black women that know how to cook.

I go to Dreamland every single time I'm in Tuscaloosa. I fricking love that place.
I singlehandedly kept the BR location open a few months longer than it otherwise would have.

Dreamland is amazing.
However, it is second best in Tuscaloosa imo.
Archibald's reigns supreme.
