You don’t know this. What if OSU loses in the B1GCG? What if Texas beats OU in a rematch for the B12? What if Clemson loses to Wake or Syracuse?
It’s possible for one or more than one of those things to happen.

1) Wisconsin would make it as a 1-loss B1G champ with a win over a #2-3 OSU team.

2) They would still take a 1 loss Oklahoma over a 1 loss team from the SEC who didn't play in their championship game, or they would run the risk giving the loser between Bama/LSU an advantage of NOT making it to their championship game. (Before you try to point to Bama making it 2 years ago without winning their division try to use the 11 brain cells you have left to remember that their resume was compared against a 2-loss champion.)

3) Wake is trash, Syracuse is more trash. This is not a realistic scenario. (Clemson would still get in as a 1-loss ACC champ over a non-champ with fewer wins from the SEC.)

This question is dumb because only Alabama could realistically get the benefit of the doubt here. It's so free to ask an LSU fan to agree to this condition because we aren't going to the playoffs if we lose to Alabama. Bama could get in if enough conference champs have losses. LSU will not get the same deference, as we have not earned it.

Divisions have only existed since the 90s. What a strange distinction.

I think LSU is the only team to have won it with two losses... to unranked teams.

Ok, I will say it as this

Bama is the only team in the post war era(post 1945)that has won a national championship without winning their own conference(if applicable)

And they have done it twice

Others have been given the opportunity as well, they just didn't capitalize on it

Divisional play still applicable if this is the distinction you wish to use.

No, bad for the conference overall. Why not leave the outlier that both teams may atill get into the CFP'S?

I suspect this is the way it will be anyway. I expect one AND ONLY ONE SEC team to be in the playoffs. The other 3 will be:

Ohio State/Wisconsin winner (90% probability, Ohio St.),
Clemson, and
Oklahoma.

Outside, looking in:

Several very good SEC teams,
The PAC 12,
and that non conference team, who expects special privileges, ND.

Apparently OP doesn’t want to play Alabama any more than they have to
I’m almost certain that LSU fans would be content to play an entire season of nothing but home night games against all in state colleges

No, the OP knows that Alabama will get in with one loss to LSU and knows that LSU would not get in with one loss to Alabama.
