If Chizik gets the ax immediately after the game, I'd take this score in a heartbeat.

What do you think the final score will be? I'm going with 45 - 3

Historically has been a very competitive game, with home team having a decided advantage. Nothing thru three games would suggest that this year's game will be close or that the home team has any chance of winning.

I wonder how loud JHS will be on Sat? If it is as crazy as it has been in years past, Mett could be a bit intimidated in his first SEC road start. I think he gets off to a slow start but rallies the Tigers to a 35 -10 victory that is not as close as the score. The lower score is partially the result of Les Miles overwhelmingly conservative game plan. The score can be named by LSU, but Les has too much class to take advantage of the "forever young" AU team.

With 2:00 minutes left on the clock and down by 6, Auburn will drive the field and score when Greg Robinson chop blocks, Trovon Reed blatantly interferes with his defender and Deangelo Benton runs off the bench to catch the winning TD. Flags will be thrown, but the call is against LSU for some arcane rule that is never called. Good Tigers win 20-14.

Damn that would piss The LSU fans off for AU to score 12 pts on the last drive. I like that a lot.

I still hold a grudge too. I will never forget that game. My boyfriend at the time wouldn't leave early. After they lit up the cigars he was livid. It was a miserable ride home.

It is usually a very close game. That's why it is my favorite SEC game. Unless some unforeseen circumstances arise, I just don't see Auburn having a chance this year. But, you never know what will happen.

LSU 48

Allbarn 10

The AU delusion in this thread is incredible. You are not playing ULM (who you barely beat in JHS) on Saturday. It's #2 in the nation coming to bring pain to the Plains.

Go LSU!
