Yes, both Iowa and NC St were ranked when we played them.

Iowa?????? the team that couldn't score on anybody at all last year?
NC State was 24th. Not 10th. Not 8th. Not 13th.

An elite Dline should have elite numbers against them because they're overmatched every time they snap the ball. Why don't they? It's a legitimate question.
Here’s the numbers that matter most, opponents’ points in 3 games: 3, 10, and 0
Those are pretty elite numbers.
Also, this may be the first and only time I’ve ever defended Tennessee

Chattanooga (0-3)
NC State
Kent State (0-3)
That matters too.

Tenn will know what a real defensive line looks like when they face OU.
Yep, we’ll be seeing them tear apart Okie’s patchwork Oline.

7 of the 10 points in game 2 came on a pick six. So the defense has only given up 2 fgs all season.
With that said OU will be a huge step up in competition and will really show if we’re for real or not on defense

Listen, I’m just stating facts. They were ranked when we played them.
Since no one answered I did my own research and OU has the 108th best offense, behind the offensive powerhouses NC St and Iowa.
OU accomplished this feat by playing Houston and Tulane
Maybe we found the real “soup can”

NC State might have a better offense than Oklahoma this year. It may be another week or two before your defense gets tested

Meanwhile we are getting less with all the "elite" DL talent we're supposed to have.
#5 in YPP
#13 in PPG
#6 SP+ defense
#1 FEI defense
Quick find another thing to bitch and moan about.

Tennessee and Tyler both win.

Their defense is the best defense I've ever seen on a football field. Heupel believes it too. That's why they perform onside kicks up 30-0 on KentSt.
Kudos to this unit.
