Goes to show you that media hype can't overcome elite talent evaluations and player development. And, to think Tennessee let Tyler Baron walk who's looking like he'll be a 1st or 2nd round pick if he continues to play well.

They're destroying what's before them and that entire DL is NFL bound. Meanwhile we are getting less with all the "elite" DL talent we're supposed to have.

Tennessee has talent on defense, mostly nowadays vs before. Back in 2016, we played them. Their defense sucked. Last year, very stout defense. I think Heupal has better defenses than what Jeremy Pruitt was fielding.

I can understand some people doubting us, but the D Line is the strength. It’s been built through stability. We have 6-7 guys that have played multiple years in the SEC and have played well. We got another 3-4 guys that we trust to play key minutes. It’s an incredibly deep unit that can stop the run and get after the passer.
