Like i've been saying. He is the one that puts UF's receiver corps over the top of Bama's.

He is going to be a big time threat in the NFL. This guy is for real.

He's clearly not on Hollah McGee's level.

He is most definitely an elite player. That damn Tebow-Hernandez shuffle pass scares the hell out of me.

We have a pretty good pro-pospect TE as well with Colin Peek. Hernandez is a monster.

Yeah but i think he is better when he is running routes. He is a very good route runner. He is much faster than he looks.

Hernandez is more of a h-back like Dallas Clark or Chris Cooley. Hernandez runs great routes like Clark does but he might be more athletic. I'm not sure, it is close.

Although he might be a h-back but he can still lineup at the TE spot and block. He isn't terrible at it. He's no Brandon Pettigrew either.

Hernandez is great but I think Peek may be the most underrated and under utilized TE in cfb. I think iin the end he makes both wr corps a push, but of course our wr dont have to be better than your wr just your db and I dont know if either group can boast that.

This sounds like a David and Goliath comparison.

He's for sure a great player but hey so was Goliath!

Exactly what Keller is, partly because he can't block worth a shite. He splits out wide alot.

IMO the comparison works in terms of athletic ability, Keller lit up the combine and is a solid receiving threat...

his game has to develop ALOT to be a complete NFL tight end ...they dont run the pitch option too often in the NFL...he has to get quite a bit stronger to be a consistent blocker

Not really, being that most people view him in the h-back mold.

He isn't the blocker that Pettigrew is but who is? Pettigrew blocks like a left tackle. He is a complete TE. Hernandez can block, he is actually pretty decent at it.

I don't think he has that far to go to be a threat in the NFL. He already is a better route runner than Harvin was and Louis Murphy. The one thing that Urban Meyer is really strict on is blocking. He usually doesn't let you on the field unless you can and will block. When called to do it Hernandez can and will do it.

In Scott Linehan's offense this year he has used 3 TEs quite abit.

Brandon Pettigrew the complete TE. Runs great routes, moves very well for a big man, blocks like a tackle and has deceptive speed. He just needs to work on his catching.

Will Heller. Supposed to be a good blocker but his blocking just does not compare to Pettigrews. He has been a target in the redzone this year, not nearly as athletic as Hernandez. Hernandez is a better route runner too.

Then you got Fitzimmons. He is the h-back guy. He lines up in the backfield, TE or slot. Something Hernandez could do. Hernandez is already a better athlete, route runner and just a better player than Fitz is.

Hernandez can improve on some things but like i said, there aren't many holes in his game and he will be a threat in the NFL.

he's definitely one of the best athletes to come out of the TE position in awhile... talking about him makes me feel really bad for C. Ingram
