Seriously before the last two years your last championship was like 40 years ago. You are as “new money” ad they come. He have won champions in each of the last three decades with 3 different coaches and played for another.

So seriously FO

You went 40 years with frick all to show for it. Goin back to back is nice but how much shite did LSU fans take over football starting after 2000?

3peat and I'll be envious, but you still squandered talent for decades.

You know what's serious?

2 top 10 finishes in the past decade (both can be attributed to Joe Burrow).

Your money is the same as Auburn. The same as Florida. The same as Tennessee. The real Johnny come latelys.

That's serious.
But nothing like board group think to convince yourselves that you are better than you really are.

This place must be great copium for you.

He’s also at a school littered with talent for the first time as well.

I was going by completed seasons, but yeah. About to be 4-5 seasons. I've always said that in the year 2245 LSU fans would be pulling out memes and saying, "Remember that time we beat Georgia two years in a row?"

LSU vrs UGA will be huge when ever it is played. But UGA would win going away because Kelly can’t win the Big One.
He has proven that over and over.

They can't help it. It is a knee jerk reaction to the fact that they are not only second fiddle to alabama... but behind UGA as well.

They have a solid coach. But he has been a coach for 30 years. They are expecting some voodoo in Baton Rouge to make him change his stripes. But he will always be Big Game Brian. I think the only SEC team he beat before LSU was LSU. Lol.

I've never seen a 4 loss team with 2 late season blowout losses get so much hype for the following year. LSU fans mocked TAM mercilessly for being 8-4 2 years ago. They might be great and win it all, but I wouldn't be that optimistic about my team if they just finished a season like that.

Bama fans were apoplectic and cleaned house after a 11-2 season with two last second losses on the road. If and when Bama has FOUR losses they won’t be singing the coach’s praises and assuming a decade of upcoming dominance, more likely the pitchforks will be out.

LSU has only been relevant twice in the past 10 seasons.

You can understand why they are hungry for good news.

Little brother syndrome.
Auburn and Tennessee do the same with the slightest bit of optimism (a home win over Bama).

Saban lost 6 games in his first season, including one to ULM.

Were the pitchforks out?

Kind of like LSU getting torched by A&M and UGA to end 2022?

Thank God for Purdue. Amirite?

LSU was predicted to lose like 6 games by many here. UGA fans have already crowned themselves 2023 champs.
