I thought it was a bad call, but I also agree we should have never been in that position. We just don’t have guys who can handle the ball under pressure. At that point in the game, I swallow my whistle if I’m the ref. Two guys going hard after the ball.

He was underneath him when your guy jumped on his back. He didn’t undercut him. It doesn’t matter though, because we blew it to even get to that point.

You’re seeing what you want to see. Williams actually beat your guy to the rim. Your guy ended up out of position under the basket. That gets called that way 100% of the time.

First of all, that looks like a pretty legit foul. I mean he got pushed in the back in mid air. Second, Missouri was up by 14 points with 2 minutes left. And you’re trying to blame one call for being the reason you lost? Lol... 14 point lead with 120 seconds left. LSU played their worst game in maybe 2 years and y’all still couldn’t get a win. Lol

Mizzou had 2-3 awful offensive possessions, 2-3 turnovers, and missed 2 free throws in the final 2 minutes.
Mizzou blew it. Even as an LSU fan, I was cringing at Mizzou’s Head-scratching blunders down the stretch.
The foul was questionable/iffy, but everything that led to that being a 1-pt game was all on Mizzou.
Anyone blaming that game on the officials needs to rewatch the final 3 minutes of play. It was textbook “how to choke away a 10-plus-point lead”...turnovers, bad clock management, poor shot selection, missed free throws.
Credit to LSU for hitting some clutch shots, for Sure, but honestly I think more than anything Mizzou just crumbled in the last 2:14.

Glad they called the foul. Would have been a travesty if that went uncalled on that Missouri guy.

ETA: watched it again a few times... I’m thankful the LSU player survived that without injury. A truly dirty play when it’s slowed down.
