All I know from this is that Brian O'Connor is ripe for the picking for a big money school who wants to be good at baseball.

LSU, why the hell aren't yall going after this guy? He

He’s Paul Mainieri’s protege

They’ve been very fortunate this year, but they had been getting progressively worse each year the last 5 years until getting hot late this year

First time as a head coach on his 1st contract. He is getting a new Tennessee contract that gets him, his staff and Tennessee facilities where he thinks they should be.

You better hope they give him what he wants. LSU has a bigger budget when it comes to baseball because we lead the nation every year in attendance. Tony maybe coming to us if we get the money right.

FYI with bonuses and other monies Corbins total comp coming after the 14 national title was north of $2.5 million.

It will be next year before Vandy’s 19 tax info is available but belief is he was paid $2.9 mil from those in the know.

I am surprised that Lemonis and Pierce only make around $750,000 a year. I thought Texas and State were supposed to be big time programs

I know...UT is paying their baseball coach $20,000 a year less than Auburn paid theirs to finish 25-27. What a bunch of idiots.

HC salaries are almost entirely covered by boosters.

Both coaches have the same number of CWS appearances. Call me when your guy produces the #1 overall MLB draft pick

Didn't think you did baseball. Having the #1 overall pick means what? Who are you even talking about; Bo Jackson or Tim Hudson?

Yeah. You have to admit though that he has gotten more than 200 in attendance in a 3000 seat stadium. Several years ago, I was one of probably 300 on SECN+ watching the one camera view that was probably standard definition. Pitiful. However, early season RPI is huge.

You think Butch Thompson coached Tim Hudson or Bo Jackson? How fricking stupid are you?
