My theory is that as far as most undergrads and recruits think, they generally prefer going to study/or play football in Austin than they do at College fricking Station
Who knows?

Both my parents went to t.u., and Dad played for Royal. I was a "gifted" recruit academically (NMS for starters), and both A&M and t.u. were offering me wheelbarrows full of money to attend their schools. I chose Aggy for the atmosphere/environment.

An LSU fan calling someone else stupid is fricking priceless

Is it? You’re the dumbfrick writing a delusional novel about how Texas and A&M are just pushing each other to the limit on success and bidding for newer, better coaches- meanwhile, in reality, y’all both suck and have sucked consistently since before my grandfather was born.

Congrats on pretend that y’all are some hub of intelligence and success with your fricked up cultures, GOAT ability to waste money, and ability to convince yourselves that it’s all ok and that you’re doing great. Very, very smart and successful groups of people!

Did I say he couldn't win dumbass? I simply said we would be locked in a big contract

Why wouldn't you want a coach to be "locked in" to a big contract if he was winning?? You sound retarded.

I'm just saying that your preferences are the same as slightly less than 50% of folks. I think most kids given the same choice would choose Austin. Just generally more to offer than being in College Station outside of the atmosphere, which is indeed what most students base their decision on.

Jesus Christ you're one dumb motherfricker that doesn't know how to read. Where did I say it was making us successful? In fact I've called it out for being detrimental to our success. The desire for success is what's driving the ridiculous money we're both spending so yes we're chasing success but it doesn't guarantee it. nowhere did I say it does you imbecile.
The point many people have made on this thread is it Texas and Texas A&M are willing to spend ridiculous money to win. It doesn't guarantee any level of success. Not a single Texas or Texas A&M fan on this thread has claimed that it does.
I'm simply pointing out that if the Aggies hired the right coach they would be highly successful and I don't know how you could argue with that.
