Your one about Hughes says he told Luke he gave some kids a ride somewhere. Basically the most trivial item in the NOA.

Yep, we must all know them if they are worried about their name getting out.

No Canes are listed I see. I was confident all along. Never worried

Ok. So what now? Are these people supposed to be embarrassed or something?

Ole Miss will very likely be required to show how it will ban these boosters and ensure that they have no future contact with the program and/or university.

Not necessarily. One of the supposed names that MSU fans have thrown about is nobody special. Maybe he is a somebody in Mississippi though.

Booster #14: John Doe Allegation #16 states that B14 illegally contacted one recruit and gave him "$13,000 and $15,600" in cash payments. B12 apparently worked for B14 and also delivered cash payments to the recruit. The notices accuses Farrar of knowing these boosters were making payments to the recruit. Ouch. The alleged payments took place in 2014 and 2015. Allegation #17 charges Farrar with lying to investigators and engaging in a cover-up of his wrongdoing.

Ok, read it. At first I was thinking, "Oh, this is just nitpicking. $50 meal. $85 Hotel room. $35 ride. This is stupid."

Then I saw the repeated mention of Kiffin and Farrar and thought - these dudes are dumbasses." Then I saw the thousands of dollars flowing from John Doe 12 and 14. And I was like - "BURN IT DOWN!"

All but 12 and 14 are not even worth reading, but the other two are big time.

Is that the Leo Lewis one? I assume that is why they are fighting.

Booster 12 & 14 are still anomymous. Booster 14 is the one that gave out $15 grand and booster 12 is his employee. Wonder why they are keeping these quiet?

Could it be someone that is famous and well respected in the football world?

The Walter Hughes thing should be thrown out. They have enough on us as it is to put garbage like that in there. I'm assuming boosters 12 and 14 are the ones worried about their reputations. With the exception for maybe Cannon motors and RR if what they did is true, I don't think any of these other people deserve ridicule from anyone. Boosters 12 and 14 are the ones who need to be named.

Trivial? Comparatively, for sure.
But when you're trying to show that you're committed to overhauling the program, it doesn't make sense to hire anyone who was affiliated with that mess; there are thousands of people out there who weren't involved.
It could very well be that Luke was their only option at this point, and they just needed a warm body.
No way will he be given the opportunity to apply for the permanent gig.

My understanding is they can't be season ticket holders any longer. That probably won't bother Mr. Patel, but the rest should be pissed. I am surprised that Dunlap got caught up in this. Seems like he would have had some underling or care taker do the grunt work for him. But, he is a long time Ole Miss supporter, wink, wink; nod, nod.

They filed a suit to have their names delayed. It has been said by one of our writers that he is just needing his name delayed from being revealed until late September. He is rumored to be an attorney, so perhaps he is selling his practice, in the process of changing jobs, or in the middle of a case, but his reasoning is business based. One is the attorney and the other works for the attorney.
