I just don't get the prevalent use of MNC on here.

Can LSU really be a sleeper if everyone knows they're a sleeper? Comments like this are kind of silly. If LSU played Alabama in week 3, all the attention would be on that game.

Well I will say when one of your players says that we will be running multiple plays out of one formation instead of having one play for one formation where when you lined up in that formation you are running that play and that play only that really shows how basic and little league your playbook was!

The only reason LSU is a sleeper is because ESPN reads the rant and have seen all the comments about LSUs "decline"....

Not really, though. LSU has been the most consistent team for the last decade. We have talent to match anyone on the field, and while we lost a lot to the draft, we played the second or third most freshman last year. LSU will surprise a lot of people.

Kind of ironic since they lost to LSU last year...

Not just formations, either. Personnel groupings basically advertised whether it was run or pass. From what I've read/heard, Cameron wants offensive players, especially backs and tight ends, to be versatile. That allows for multiple play calls from a single formation without personnel changes, which, in turn, will allow for a quicker tempo on offense.

If that happens, watch out! LSU will annihilate some teams.

I can't wait to see Cam Cameron get a little revenge for the situation Saban left him in Miami.

That describes my optimisic expectations this year. It's very realistic.

LSU won't be fielding an Oregon type offense. They will still run the ball on teams. Just better Routes for WR's and play calling. Not being predictable so to speak.

I think LSU will be pretty good. I'm particularly interested in seeing if the passing game steps up a notch. Lots of raw talent.

Despite losing lots of JRs to the NFL, this defense should be pretty familiar looking. Chief has very few peers when it comes to building defensive juggernaunts....

It's time for the season to get here.

I hope you are right, but I am cautiously optimistic. We've had an "improved passing game" ever since the 2009 season.

I finally feel like we have a great coach for, but we have to see if the players can execute.

An interesting tidbit I heard in the radio was that the receivers said that it wasn't just Cam that was pushing them. Chavis has been really working them over in practice to force them to learn to break out of tight coverage.

Fingers crossed it all comes together.
