Where the frick do you get these stats? Damn.

Ok. My poiny is that Auburn does go fast, but usually after a first down or big play(which is usually a big play).

If you get 15 -20 first downs a game(as an example) that id 15-20 plays that Auburn is sprinting to the line much faster than a team like Bama.
So the average is meaningless for this argument.

Bama's offense almost never does that.

And I dont care that Auburn does that. Im just sayinh the stat is meaningless.

Yep, you are the exact same thing you spend all yout time on here pissing and moaning about. Most of your posts are flames in response to what you perceive as flames. You have no sense of humor and take this shite way to serious. You are a hypocrite. And spelling and grammar smack and flames ai t gonna work.

And I will ask again since you avoided the question, do you think Auburn goes fast?

Auburn plays fast, occasionally, like most teams. but why does that even matter?

This reminds me of the Kurt Vonnegut short story "Harrison Bergeron"

I will say it again. All the stats listed like number of plays and seconds between snaps is not a valid arguement whether or not Auburn goes "fast" since they usually only do it after a first down. That is when they attack withthe speed. That was my only point.

Auburn plays fast

Thanks for your honesty. Getting you to answer that was like pulling teeth.

I agree. Blackledge loves to point it out every time he has an Auburn game.

Whoa whoa whoa... what about when it's 41-7?

I see what you're saying and I agree to a point, but disagree based on some 'bama fans that are trying to depict Auburn's offense as HUNH all game long (basketball on grass, not the way the game was meant to play, no longer a chess match, etc, as was posted in this exact thread). When you throw out dumb shite like that, average time per play absolutely shows a significant disparity in what they believe and what is factually correct.

Auburn doesnt go fast all game long, but to deny using tempo at selective times is one of the things that gives Gustavs offense an advantage is also dishonest.

I think Gus is a great offensive coach, and one of the brightest offensive minds in football. I only hate him because hr is Auburns coach.

I can admit that.

I do not understand why Arkansas didnt really go after him. I mean fricking Bielema over Gus?

Oh frick you, does one lose all sense of humor way up there on that horse.

Not only are you a hypocrite, but a dishonest one when you say tempo and speed is not a major element of Gustavs offense.

If its not, why do they sprint to the line after a first down to run a play ss quickly as possible?

This also hurts bad Joey. I (gulp) like to watch Auburns offense play.

I thought 9-6 was as exciting a game as Ive ever seen, but I enjoy seeing Gus's offense. I also enjoy seeing it stopped, which is rare.

How "dishonest" would the Bama offense be if they had the ball on their 20 with a minute left in the game and down by 4?

Well when you make a point of saying Auburn only goes fast, how did you phrase it, occasionally, it does imply that speed is no more a part of its offense than a team like LSU.

Plus the way the stats are always presented minimize it completely.

So yeah.

Which if you read them, along with the other posts in this thread makes it even more amazing you jumped to the conclusion that I was saying Auburns offense was dishonest. But you assumed since I was a Bama fan thay was what I had ti be saying, even though that was never said.

And only a high school ref? Shocking.
