Yeah. They thought they were getting something special. All they did was clear the way for James "Freight Train" Banks to get the nod and knock Bryce Young around all game.
Because...no one can tell me that Toto would have been able to harass Young as much as Banks did. He was in his face all day.

You know on the subject of all this transfer bullshite. If you really want to curb the NIL stuff, just get back to the rule where you have to sit out a year. That'll solve alot of problems.
I don't know what kind of shite is being slung Toto's way and I don't care. But what I do know is the Burton, Ricks and to a lesser extent, Toto transfers either hurt these guys or did nothing to help them.
Jalen Moody is better than Toto. Ricks can hardly get on the field and Burton is below average and we know this because, as a group Alabama's receivers frickin' suck.
What's going on with Alabama and it's transfers right now is a cautionary tale for all elite level programs.
Other than Gibbs and maybe Steen, these Alabama transfers need to get their asses back in the portal.

Oh no!! So he will be 1-1 against his former team and go to the SEC championship for the second year while Tennessee fans stay home and jerk it to regular season highlights.
ETA: We all know y’all are scared of a rematch. Those bragging rights might be gone sooner than y’all want them to be if y’all make the playoff after losing to GA.

Would suck but good luck to them. Geez some of you take this too personally. These kids don’t owe you anything. I remember a few years back how Clemson fans were bitching about Kelly Bryant leaving them when they already had Lawrence and just how different they reacted compared how Bama fans reacted when Jalen Hurts left for Oklahoma.

Edit: also I mentioned this in another thread. But what about Alvin Kamara? I know he got kicked off Bama’s team due to discipline issues and he went to JUCO before he went to Tennessee but regardless how is it different when he still ends up at a rival school. Is it ok for players to go to rival schools under certain conditions?
