Would rather have Henry

I'd like to see how you measured the leadership of every player on every team and came to this determination.

When you can't beat a team, ride the jock of a team that did. It's the aggie way

With this stipulated, I wonder where all the condemnation is for Saban overworking Henry like there was for Miles after he dared let Fournette run it for 30 times in a game.
Saban runs another horse to death as per the process.
I don't remember all of this "condemnation" for Miles, but if it was there, it was just as silly then as it is now for Saban.
Derrick Henry has 295 carries this year. He only had 172 last year.
Herschel Walker had 385 carries as a sophomore, 335 as a junior, and almost 1,000 carries for his 3 year college career.
Yet Walker somehow managed to have a 15 year pro career with 3,000 carries. So the notion that Henry is being run to death is pretty funny.

Both will likely break Walker's SEC rushing record. Henry in 13 games, Fournette in 12. Henry is guaranteed the record barring catastrophic injury. He will have 2-3 games to get less than 100. Fournette needs 150 in 1 game. Henry has the TD record in the bag too needing 2 to break Tebow/Mason's record.

The only thing I'm getting out of this OP is that aTm's defense is still garbage. Also add that aTm's offense is garbage as well.

Early on in the season defenders were scared to tackle. Once defenders started to hit Fournette before he hit them, his effectiveness went down. Now at this point in the year defenses are scared to tackle Henry. If I had to pick a player to play tomorrow, (as hard as it is to admit) I pick Henry. Dude cannot be tackled.

Henry also has better vision. That showed against better competition later in the year.

I think Henry/Fournette/Gurley are all very good RBs for there teams.
Henry runs behind OL that is best in SEC. Hands down!!!
Fournette's OL is very young with injuries and starter FB out for season.
Gurley injured for season. STUD OL

Just imagine what Fournette would do if he had Alabamas offensive line....

If Fournette had the red team's o-line, strategery, and coaching, he'd have about 4,000 rushing yards by now.

Yeah...just look at what our OL did on 2nd and goal from the one-foot line on Saturday.

I expect Henry to light it up in the pros as well.
Yep. He's same height as Eric Dickerson with an extra 20lb of muscle and just as fast. Henry's vision has dramatically improved this year as well. I think the extra height actually gives him an advantage over shorter RB's because he has a bette view of the downfield play developing.
Not taking anything away from LF7 and I expect him to have a great pro career as well. As an SEC fan its just awesome to have those two guys representing the south as they are awesome players and seem to be even better young men.

LF would not be as effective running behind Bama's O-line out of the pistol. He lacks the patience to press the hole and the vision to find the cut back lanes like Henry. He looks very average running out of the shotgun the few times LSU does it. He was other worldly running out of the I formation with a full back leading the way. When the FB went down he came back to the pack. He made the right decision by going to LSU as the utilize the full back and it's much easier for a runner with average vision to run behind a lead blocker
LOL ok

They got mad at me on the Bama board for saying this.
I was at Auburn when Tubberville did that shite to Cadillac, and we saw how that worked out for him.

Because its stupid. Henrys strongest run was the final TD. If you are an NFL scout you are taking notice. That game probably made Henry an extra $1m and moved him up 20 draft slots.
