This just isn’t true. The only reason he would potentially give up a multimillion dollar job that I can understand to avoid being interviewed by his superiors about a public concern is if he has legal liability attached.

But you can’t be upset with the LSU administration. They’re simply following a process.

The absolutely most clueless process. Again, this isn't an NCAA issue at the moment, and they know he cant talk until he makes his official statements from the trial. No reason to suspend him right now, if they wanted to look into what they wanted to look into, fine, but there's no reason to do this over a few random reports on FBI wiretaps when he has to go make a statement on those still next month. The season is already played out, he should be coaching still.

The LSU administration is a complete clown-show and they're proving it once again.

The point is this ISN'T about the NCAA yet at all,

What? He was suspended because he was on tapes talking about breaking NCAA issues, not the law

He cheated his arse off to do it. It’s going to be vacated.

You really think he’s going to continue to cheat after this? If not, why do you want him?

So he's just lying when he is being told not to discuss the tapes until the subpoena is completed? This is an FBI matter, generally speaking you dont want to go around blabbing about that before making your official statements.

You cannot be this stupid. This is an NCAA issue. Just because the NCAA hasn’t officially announced an investigation doesn’t mean it isn’t an NCAA issue. Every coach’s interaction with a recruit is an NCAA issue. That’s why the NCAA has rules about coach/recruit interactions.

BINGO!
give the man a kewpie doll!

That's why Edwin Edwards, Huey Long and many others with shady reputations in the past have been so well accepted by the people.

Because it isn't, I'm not saying it wont be, I'm saying at this very moment, it isn't. It's an FBI issue.

He’s not lying. But the reason he was told not to talk isn’t because his lawyers are preserving his constitutional rights.

Thanks for playing. Until that happens, and they (admins or them) have evidence against him, there's no reason to suspend him right now when he cant even talk about the FBI wiretaps.

The thing is he said "offer" ... What you people fail to realize is that if there is no proof of him actually giving a player money then he is innocent. All these reports are just allegations and assumptions by the media. There has yet to even be a lick of evidence that he actually payed someone. LSU Admins took the media's bait just like the rest of you.
