That was a mess up, and wow I didn’t know he became the favorite. That seems a little ridiculous saying a kid is the favorite for a heisman when people are basing that on just one half of football.

Auburn had a series of good things happen to them in 2010 and won a natty for the first time since 1957. UGA got very close to Nattys in 2017 and 2012. We also had a pretty good team in 2007 that was playing some great football at the end of the season. Our time is coming, you will see.

It’ll be Grier or Love probably. I’d put my money on Love. If I had to pick someone from the Sec it would be Lock or Tua. I think they’ll put up the stats.

if Mizzou can find a way to win 9 games this year and not get embarrassed by Bama or UGA; then Drew Lock is almost assured to be a Heisman finalist

You and I both know Mizzou isn't going to be good enough for him to have realistic potential of winning the Heisman..

i'd agree with tua and stidham.. Najee Harris doesnt have a shot.. i'd say Swift has a much better shot. he gonna be a workhorse

Auburn was undefeated in 1993 and 2004, and played for the NC in 2013 as well. Gene Chizik won the NC in his 2nd year at Auburn, Kirby lost. Your time may be coming but Auburn has been there every bit as much as UGA.

Auburn will lose 4 games this year. Washington will beat AU
Au will lose to one of LSU/TAMU/MSU
UGA and UA will both beat Auburn away from Jordan Hare.

A QB on a 4 loss team with a rebuilt OL will never win the Heisman.

I laughed at first but you could be right. Stidham gets injured and AU is in trouble.

Najee Harris is the most talented RB in the SEC.. he most certainly has a shot.

Swift is an interesting choice.. although I'm under the impression, if Michel and Chubb can't get there, it'll be extremely hard for him to do so. Bama has shown they're capable with Ingram and Henry already doing it. You know what i mean?

They aren't basing it on 1 half of football.

1. He's probably REALLY good.
2. Alabama will probably win 10 or more games in the regular season.
3. Alabama MIGHT need to get after it on offense if the secondary isn't ready or there are more injuries.
4. The talent and experience throughout the rest of the offense is absolutely spectacular.
5. The media fricking loves him and he has hype for days.

It will be interesting. His talent is definitley there, and when he did play last year we all saw the short spurts of greatness. Biggest thing he has going for him is being the QB of a national championship contender.

I don't either to be honest.. it's just interesting that only so few have a realistic shot.

well thats your opinion and i respect that. But Damien is bamas best RB.. either way, they are gonna split carries big time. he wont have the numbers. I see Swift just getting more carries

I could be wrong but I view Damien as Bama's most experienced Harris, not the best.

Exactly.

Him being the QB for Alabama is enough to get him way up there in the odds all by itself. Add in that Alabama is in the best position they've been in on offense since Saban has been there and you get a heisman favorite.

I'd be quite happy with just feeding Damien, Najee, and Jacobs as much as possible, though. Najee has shown flashes of being a goddamn monster.

Unless Saban changes his DNA, I'd see an Alabama RB winning before a QB.
