I think people are sleeping on Tulane in that conference.

Agreed. I’ve been watching Tulane for awhile. They have a 5-1 record with wins over solid Duke and Northwestern teams, which is better than anything Memphis has done. Big game in a couple of weeks.

I have resigned myself to the probability that ACC will sneak two teams into the playoffs.

I have too but all these predictions say Miami as ACC champs and they are a long shot to even play in championship game.

My guess is Pitt if they drop an ACC game.

A&M loses to Bama in that scenario

Quit the crying. A&M has yet to beat an SEC team that is going to be ranked as of today. They also haven’t played anyone from the top half of the conference. Other teams are running a gauntlet and the Ags are playing the dregs. To their credit, they are taking care of business convincingly.

Pitt is another possibility. Nobody can blow a game like GT can. Doesn’t matter how many points they are ahead.

Only way they get left out is if the playoff field is all undefeated and 1-loss teams.

Miami has a pretty clear path to an at large spot in playoffs without needing a conference championship.
