Lane Kiffin says Dave Aranda was the toughest DC he faced in the SEC. ("Take that Pruitt, Chavis, Steele" ... Finebaum's words.)
Miss State carrying the torch for the SEC in the Women's Final Four. McCowan is the center of MSU's run.
Also, coming-up in minutes, 3:30 PM God's time ... Will mUSChamp on the direction and trajectory of his program heading into the Spring Game tomorrow. Finebaum will, jo doubt, once again praise him for beating Harbaugh and preventing the B1G from going undefeated in the bowl games. He said mUSChamp will forevermore be his hero for doing that.
Interview coming in roughly 20 minutes.
Also, Fibber McGee (ESPN The Mag) and Andy Landers (SEC women's basketball analyst) will be on.
Happy Good Friday everyone.

How would Kiffin know? Not like he had to put in any work to beat Dave. Kiffin is a joke, and can’t really judge other coaches because he’s never had to work up to the level to compete with a guy like Dave.

Aranda held Kiffin's offense to 0 points deep into the 4th quarter and he played him when Aranda was at Wisconsin.

Im not watching but let me guess what mussy says.
We’re having really physical practices right now and the competition level is very high, im impressed by the physicality. We’r breaking in the mid year enrollees and they are doing great, really impressed by how hard everyone is working right now. We’v Got alot of competition at every position right now and everyone is really showing out.

I’m saying Kiffin has never had to work for anything. So him judging another coach is ridiculous. Wether it be good or bad.
So if I hurt your little LSU feelings I’m sorry.

Don’t forget that I’ve been really impressed with the way this year’s team has completely bought in to what we’re trying to do here. They have stepped up to provide that leadership our young guys need.

Not really ... not at all actually.
He focused more on the program, on the facilities, on the inroads in recruiting and mentioned we'll have 400 prospects at the game tomorrow for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 classes. He talked about leading the SEC in graduation rates, having facilities second to none in the country, great fans, etc.
Finebaum and company expounded on that and predicted mUSChamp will win an SEC Championship at SC within the next eight years. Finebaum went on to talk about his many trips down here since moving to Charlotte and he bolstered mUSChamp's claims that our facilities are now second to none ... Finebaum called our facilities extraordinary and said he's visited all of them in the league and he's a witness to our facilities being up there with the best.
Finebaum noted mUSChamp's use of the words "our Brand" to describe what is transpiring here and said he completely understood how it is being used ... as well as making note of our support staff, assistant coaches, AD's office, etc.
It was actually a helluvan interview.

Wrong again ... as usual.
He's past all of the "bought into the new system" narrative he rightly preached the past two seasons ... and he was correct btw.
He's more into talking about the need to keep upgrading talent and developing depth at this point. He went into a lot of areas involved with recruiting, was obviously reaching out to parents who may have been listening, and again he went into a lot of academic and facility stuff, player development, adding Marcus Lattimore to the program as an advisor and counselor, etc.
He's building.
He talked very little about specific positions but he did say we need to find some players in the secondary and we need our OLine to finally have a good year but, other than that and mentioning Deebo Samuel's return ...
Oh, and he was asked why he chooses to do Spring Practice so early and he said it's because we'll be the only game on TV tomorrow plus it gives injured players more time to heal before August. He also noted that we'll still have two more practices AFTER the Spring Game to work on things missed in the game.
It's different than most but his logic is hard to argue with really.

His guest interviews are excellent.
His callers, for the most part, are trashy rednecks. Jim from Tuscaloosa is a fricktard especially. Larry the Golfer is almost as bad. Matt from Gainesville is as well.
The best part of his TV show, when playing in the background while working or surfing or whatever ... is during commercial breaks. Stuff the radio audience cannot see or hear.
