Seriously, do you work somewhere in managment? I mean with more than say three people. That's most likely who they call, then the inform the coach and make a decision if he should go on. Do you really believe HBO wouldn't put Chiz on that show? If so you really can't be older than 19 and don't know shite.

Looks like you're saying calling the SID at AU doesn't = giving your coach a chance to be on the show. Is that what you're saying?

The key question is when did HBO contact Auburn, was it the day of the show, the day before... They said they read a transcript (did not provide a copy). Did Auburn have time to respond?

As I said, Chiz's original statement wasn't technically a lie, but HBO was fair to call the SID for a statement and Chiz probably shouldn't have used the line that they didn't try to talk to him.

Chizik just wants to act like he is so tough. He just wants to say "this is all just garbage".
Does he honestly think that everyone is just out to get Auburn, and none of these things are true?
I bet if 3 months ago someone had told him that 4 of his players would commit armed robbery, he would have called that garbage also. He can't say for sure that nothing has happened, but he just wants to act like such a badass. Like, kicking those players off the team. How was that such a big deal? He had no choice, they were arrested with the evidence and the gun. I could have made that decision.
