Once again, 8 players over 20 years when there are different coaches there throughout the whole thing, is not very odd. 1 player every 2.5 years? not very strange.

Providing pertinent facts to my side of an argument doesn't equal misrepresentation or ignoring. It's your duty to dig for the rest if you want to dispute.

From a single out of state school? That'd be like Prattville sending 8 players to Georgia Tech over Bama and Auburn in that time frame.

well, presenting presenting information as correct fact, when it is in actuality not fact kinda is misrepresentation

but I get what you meant.

More like Georgia. That would not be very odd. And its not like they were all 5* recruits. Bostic was very good, Mounds was good but wasn't a star, Rosegreen was a 3*, so was McClover. I mean its not that odd of a thing when you consider that with Tubb's staff, we recruited Florida extremely well.

Wow.

Were LSU fans this bad after '03 and '07?

I don't remember Florida fans acting like this after their championships, nor bama fans either.

I would say, "Act like you been there." but obviously they haven't...

It's not that odd, as I pointed out Brentwood Academy in Tennessee was the same way. A couple of kids go, then their friends hear how much they like it and it snowballs.

Pretty sure Chizik's point was of all the Auburn players contacted, 13 total, they only chose four who were willing to say they rec'd money.

This^^^

They interviewed several and kept asking them "off the record" and said nothing happened, yet no clips of this.
What difference does this make. No one is saying every player at Auburn is getting paid... 31% seems to be the established ratio at Auburn(4/13).

How come HBO didn't air the HS coach of SM when he denied that Auburn offered money with SM in the room? When the coach didn't back down HBO ended the interview and no mention of it at all in the piece. Other players who were contacted when offering opposing stories were quickly overlooked and HBO moved on to the next guy who may talk bad about AU.

Chizik didn't lie when he said it was pure garbage.

It only takes one receiving money for it to be a problem for AU. The nine that [supposedly] didn't take money does not cancel out the ones that [supposedly] did.

When they interviewed McClover's high school coach. They tried to force him into admitting that an AU coach came to his office and forced him to make sure certain recruits came to AU or he would lose his job.....which never happened. They also tricked him into doing an interview by inferring that it was about McClover's life from a poor beginning and all that stuff, and then a few questions in just started hammering him about money from Auburn. That is shady interviewing.

yeah... link please?

How many other coaches blast their former players when they level these kinds of accusations without talking to them first?

i think that the big picture here is that chizik & auburn have had to do an awful lot of denying and circling the wagons in response to an awful lot of stories from major media outlets in the past few months.
