Tee Martin from what I can tell is a terrible coach. However, he can recruit. So he could be a CEO coach like Orgeron if given the chance

But he's a terrible X's and O's guy

Pretty much. I do think he could grow into a CEO type coach and be damn good at it but he needs to get his arse a HC job and show that. He hasn't shown it via x's and o's so he's gonna have to go that route if he wants to land a p5 job. The players believe in Tee and I don't blame them but it takes more than being a great guy and former QB to land a p5 gig.

I guess hiring a coach with big titties wasn't enough.

Their previous AD had big titties, so no.

Albert Haynesworth should stfu and start paying his child support and tuition instead of draining his kids' 529 accounts of hundreds of thousands of dollars

Didn’t they offer the job to James Franklin and Tony Elliot?

I don't know if we ever made the formal offer but we were in serious talks with both. I think things were very warm with Elliott but just didn't work out.

Statements like this is eventually gonna hurt football in the long run. It’s a game about unity and fun, not race and politics.

As soon as any argument contains the word “systematic “., it becomes automatically useless nonsense

Unpopular opinion: wanting your coach to be black is racist.

Like I’m sure the UT fans and athletic department didn’t say to themself, “damn I hope our coach is white”

True, mainly because the word should be systemic, not systematic.

Yeah this is hilarious because James Franklin was our #1 target and Elliott was under consideration in some capacity.

Haynesworth is nuts. Appreciate his time as a player but he's been certifiable since he left and only gets worse as the years go by.

Is this similar to what Clay did to VOLS about Schiano? Stirring the pot! I am not surprised one bit about any of these things going on at Tennessee!

I saw Big Al walking down the ramp after a Titans game in 2019. He looked shockingly bad. I wasn’t surprised when he announced last year that he was on deaths bed because his organs were failing him. He is like 38.

Dude was famous for being an angry alcoholic, I’m sure he doesn’t/can’t drink anymore. I graduated from UT in 2015, and during my entire time in Knoxville, Albert would be somewhere on Cumberland Ave boozing heavily, typically by himself, literally every night of the week. We use to joke as college kids behind his back how worried we were about his liver, cause dude did nothing but drink. And who in their right mind would go up to him and say he should stop drinking?

Dudes got some CTE craziness

I remember his recruitment and being disappointed he didn’t sign with UGA but I am damn happy he didn’t once he started losing his marbles
