I spent many years working as a reporter. You would be surprised where reporters get their ideas for stories and leads for sources. Then you would cry.

I tried positing something similar a month ago - about our local sports FM station, and then one about ESPN and some others, but it was anchored.
Yeah, I hear and read talking points straight from the SECr every day ... and some of them are far too unique to be coincidental IMHO.
It's sort of a which came first question, but obviously we muse for some of the outlets.
