No doubt. I think it is a very interesting thread. If he tries and limits the amount of money assistant coaches earn, then they will leave for other conferences willing to pay more.If the man isn't worth the money to LSU, then they wouldn't pay it.

If your coach was doing his job in a professional manner you wouldn’t have these problems.

He sucks donkey balls ... lives on his ability to arm wrestle.

Seriously ... when is the SEC going to appoint a commish from within, an SEC grad, preferably a Southern person, man or woman, with serious commish skills.

Stankey is a stinkey skankey.

I can name a half dozen SEC alumni alumna who would make great commishes ... would knock it out of the park.

As long as the commissioner isn't actively working to destroy our football program I'm ok with them.

Cough cough Kramer cough

So, you think that play is an indication of Aranda's defensive prowess? If so, that pretty much proves you have not watched LSU Football much these past two seasons.

What steps can a person like me take to get the ball rolling on an SCRooster chairmanship?

I have no idea if the SEC has had a weaker commissioner than Sankey, but how the hell did you come to that conclusion from the article. Somebody asked him about coaching salaries, he (quite correctly) pointed out that these salaries will reach a natural upper limit and that there wasn't much the SEC could do about them or coaches checking out other schools to drive up their value in the interim.

I see. It is Sankey's fault that the conference is rich. And because it is rich, some teams are looking to upgrade their facilities and coaching staffs.

What a jerk.

As coaching salaries go up, there's probably more pressure on the conference to keep increasing the payouts to the schools. Sankey has to make sure those tv contracts keep going up.

I wouldn't have the energy but there are some younger guys like Charles Bloom and Bill Stern who would knock the job outta the park.

These days the SEC home office is just one step short of NCAA bureaucracy ... all they di is sit back, collect our schools' hard-earned money and issue shitty decisions rifht and left.

If a conference cannot even get the officiating done properly then what good are they?

What the hell do you expect Sankey to do about LSU's inept Athletic Dept? He can't control you purse strings.
