The only ones that suddenly care are the students. When I went to USC I went to almost every home basketball game no matter how bad we were. I could get seats 3 rows back from the court. I was there when we beat #1 Kentucky and rushed the court. But the students definitely don't turn out well unless the team is playing well... but the rest of the fans have always gone. I've always cared about basketball it's just we haven't done shite until now. I wasn't alive in the 70s.
