Has the Chad Kelly experiment been an overall success?

I would have to say yeah.

Freeze proves once again that he is one of the better QB coaches in the SEC. Chad is putting up numbers both in the air and on the ground that are at the tops of the conference. He did that with Bo Wallace before Kelly. Even Brunetti and Mackey found ways to be a factor in the offense under his tutelage. Shea and "Scoop em up" Pellerin will continue this momentum for at least three more years.

do you just need a dose of validation this morning? How would anyone say he hasn't been a success?

Yes. Very much so.

Swag is breaking records and making a name for himself. He'll be a high second round draft pick if I had to guess, possible low-first rounder if he wins out.

I know Georgia can't deny he's good, that's for sure.

Do you really need validation? Dude can play, you already know that.

Re Shea and Scoop, one leaves when he's named 2nd team, the other when the NCAA enforces sanctions...that's my prediction.

neither can alabama?

I just don't really get the point considering there shouldn't be a soul that would say that he hasn't been very successful there.

Freeze

Is a Big12 coach. He should see what it's like to field a defense from time to time, might help his gimmicky offense

I wise man once told me, "You can't make chicken salad out of chicken shite."

I would say what Freeze got out of Wallace was pretty amazing.

Freeze has done with a great job with his QB's. I still can't quite understand why they are so consistently bad at running the football. If Ole Miss wants to take the next step they have to figure out how to have some semblance of a run game.

Thus far, it looks more like Freeze really needs to keep Buddy Stephens around.

Get back to me when Hugh takes a kid that didn't go to Last Chance U and does something with him.

We ran MUCH better last year when we switched to "pistol" formations. I don't know why we haven't been running those very much this year.

I'm certain Hugh knows more than I, but it's really kind of puzzling.
