So... what you're saying is, A&M was last relevant in 1957?

What I'm saying is A&M will be the most relevant team in CFB sunday morning.

FIFY.

We could be a sixty point underdog and I wouldn't be "scared."

Kids running around with a football just doesn't have that kind of effect on my life.

What year in the "early 1900s" would you like to start with?

Pick any year prior to 1950 you like using the link below...
LINK

LSU is 12th in terms of winning percentage from 1900 to 2011.

Texas A&M is 24th. Behind Alabama, LSU, Georgia, Auburn and Florida. But ahead of Arkansas.

Congrats on being the SEC's new Arkansas.

A&M had a very nice run from 1985-1998. 8 conference titles, 12 top 15 finishes and only lost four home games in 14 seasons. We lost a shair of the national title when we lost to Notre Dame in the '93 Cotton Bowl and went undefeated in 1994 but were ineligible for postseason play.

Also, it's really misleading to use our failures prior to the late-60s as a barometer for our program. We were an all-male service academy with a microscopic athletic budget. If you look at ur program since we went coed, made the corps optional and started pumping money into our program it's not too shabby. Top 15 in wins, top 10 in conference titles since the late-60s/early-70s.

How can a team that has finished LOWER than 10th in over 90% of the coaches pools over the past 55 years be a top 10 program historically?

Additionally:

Aggies were UNRANKED for 2/3 of those years.
Aggies NEVER finished ranked in top 5 over that time.

Now how is that a TOP 10 Historic program?

First, no 2-loss team will be the most relevant team in CFB on Sunday AM.

Second, A&M will be a 3-loss team on Sunday AM.
