I don't see Freeze doing this kind of stuff.
But, I'm not a Freeze defender. He's a mediocre coach. Good for a place like Ole Miss, not sure he's good at a place like Auburn.

Kiffin is a good coach who can’t get out of his own way. Perfect fit for ole miss . Will never win anything meaningful but will keep them competitive and happy

That’s what I tried to say but I guess it didn’t come across. Kiffin suffers from chronic diarrhea of the mouth, I know, and he was talking in circles a bit but at least to my eyes, he still gave the impression of having more than just a passing interest in and knowledge of this situation.

Kiffin’s problem IMO is that he has the emotional maturity of your average horny 16-year-old.

I too believe Lane is trying to recruit Nico. It’s smart of him to do so. Lane can get more than most from his QBs.
