Has it been mentioned that Harbaugh couldn't even win the Pac-12 with Luck?

The best prospect of the last 25 years, a stout defense, and a mauling OL and Harbaugh couldn't get it done in the Pac-12 and then failed to get it done three straight years in the pros. He's a good coach, but 8 million a year? No thanks.

Looks like ole Jim Harbaugh got alot of motherfrickers scared.

Old boy is going to win alot of games at Michigan. You can bank on that.

Probably, but won't win the big one. At least he hasn't in the past.

He completely turned around the Stanford Cardinals (let me stress this part) and then the San Fransisco 49ers (took them to 3 conference championships and 1 Super Bowl). He is worth every penny, IMO.

I think Harbaugh is extremely overrated. Like OP said he had the greatest Qb prospect since John Elway and couldn't win anything at Stanford. And I think most of the credit for San Francisco being so good while he was there should he given to Mike Singletary who had built a ferocious defense. What is SF's biggest problem? Offense. What is Harbaugh's supposed area of expertise? Offense

Not sure if serious or stupid. You do know the aforementioned john elway went to Stanford and never even went to a bowl?

I thought Elway was QB for 'The Play' when they lost to Cal and the band came on the field? Either way, the point stands that Elway didn't win anything at Stanford either. I remember being amazed when I heard Stanford was getting good again, and the Niners have been bottom feeders for over a decade before Harbaugh came in, turned them around (with Alex Smith at first who was called a coach killer), and got them to a Super Bowl and 3 championship games.

Obviously he can be really annoying because the 49ers think they can do better when they've proven they had a hard time before. Saban rubbed players in the NFL the wrong way, and he bolted after being mediocre. Harbaugh, like Saban, can be a dictator at Michigan and run things how he likes it. He's going to do well.

He was. They were 5-5 and the play prevented them from going 6-5 and going to a bowl.

He will do just well enough at Michigan for LSU to offer in a few years when Les retires, then the SEC will be fricked.
