The first two pictures are too far away to determine if his hands are completely grasping i.e controlling the ball. The gif cuts away to his foot conveniently at the point when it is necessary to determine if he was grasping the ball when is foot went down. Again, it is not irrefutable.

Picture one from 100 feet above the field, is his foot down or is it above the ground? If down, how can you tell?
Picture two, has not yet demonstrated firm control...see earlier post.
Here's a better look at your "money bag" shot:
Where is the green between his foot and the sideline? This is the FIRST clear picture of his foot being on the ground, but it doesn't show it is inbounds.

You do realize that the replay refs are looking at each angle with timers in 1/100 second timers, right. All they have to do is synch up the timers on all angles to see where the feet are and if he has control of the ball...ASSUMING all of those angles are available.
But I'll say this again. None of this would even be debated right now if GARY CROWTON DIDN"T SUCK DONKEY BALLS AS AN OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR.

Can I borrow your x-ray glasses so I can see thru peterson's back to see where the ball is?

Not sure where you get that info, but I've seen a few replay booths and none have ANYTHING like that....

I've got a few things to do and will check back to see the picture we all agree must exist in order for the ruling on the field to be overturned. Please, don't post anymore of that crap from the upper deck or blurry videos. The standard, according to the rule book, is clear and the evidence has to meet the standard.

At the point of your still he as already caught the ball, is starting to tuck it, and has dragged a foot leaving the plume of grass circled in red.
Two shots. The top photo (beginning of the foot drag) occurring just prior to the bottom photo (after the foot drag).

Bro, your first picture shows that his left hand is not touching the ball, which also happens to be when his foot drags the ground. Come on. If your arguing for a pick then produce evidence of it.

You are a simple nitwit.
Watch the video.
The reason his left hand is (possibly) not touching the ball in either of those stills is because he has already caught it and is tucking it.

Yeah NC_Tigah, who are you going to believe, a gump or your own 2 eyes? He told you what you are supposed to see, just like Burleson did, now see it and try to believe it.

He has NOT demonstrated firm control until his left foot, the one leaving the plume of grass, left the ground. I realize "firm control" is not an easy concept for most people, but I'm giving it to your straight up...the left foot has nothing to do with the ruling.
Think about the example I posted. If what you say is true, anytime your receiver grasps the ball and takes a half step, he's now a runner. If a defender makes him drop the ball it's a fumble....and that makes no sense.
If you believe it does, it's time to stop discussing it. You don't understand the concept so I can say it a thousand times and it won't change anything.

But I guess someone has to account for the 8% of the country who seem to share your view.

8% might be on the high side since less than 1% actually know the rules.

Your "catch and tuck" looks more like PP playing "hot potato" to me.

Hot potato? If you think he bobbled the ball at all, you are borderline retarded.

It's better than his recycled crap picture. After laughing it out of the discussion, he blows it up and the crops it. Repackaging a crap example is still a crap example.
Note the overlay of both

I hate to break it to you, Doctor. But, what you deem as "silliness", is the rule.
Let me pose a hypothetical to you. If something is medically defined as cerebral palsy, and the entire medical community is in agreement that this is the correct definition of cerebral palsy, does 92% of the untrained general public thinking that doesn't fit the definition make it any less cerebral palsy?
