What?He's a POSISTION coach leaving for a HC job.He'll at least quadruple his salary.EVERY coach in his position would do the same.Let me know when one of your position coaches or even one of coordinators gets a HC offer in the SEC.Funny,with all these SEC openings and fat Chaney doesn't even get a call.
BTW our DC is a finalist for the Broyles award (best asst in CFB)

I disagree; being a Vol is pretty nice right now. Those guys put me on a rollercoaster too often for my comfort, but right now they have a good basketball team along with a good baseball team and a football team that is improving. I'm happy enough.

It could always be worse. You could have a top 20 roster but still finish 7-5 on the season with 3 blowout losses to your biggest rivals plus an embarrassing loss to Georgia State.

Yeah but there's something inherently wrong when you get blown out with 14 five stars on your roster and over 40 four stars.
That means your entire roster is more than 50% blue chip. So losing by three or four touchdowns is kind of a bigger problem. At least Tennessee seems to be going in an upward trajectory.
Let's see what kind of attrition goes on at Georgia after that game.

It happens. OSU has been blown out several times the last few years. LSU has had some great numbers and still gotten blown out. We ran into a great team.

LSU looked like a highly functioning and organized unit. Georgia looked consistently poor from a motivational and team perspective.
You guys seem to run into a lot of good teams, at least once a year where someone blows you completely out of the water.
This isn't Kirby's first or second year, this is his entire roster and he's still losing his arse when it matters the most.

I'm happy, we're in a NY6 bowl for the second year straight after struggling to bowl annually.
The only two teams that beat us had significant talent advantages.
It's not like we lost to a Wildcat QB at home or something and then got blown out like a McElwain team in the SEC CG. At least you guys can hang your hat on winning the East, just like McElwain did.
